Electricity

Electrical outlets are available only in 110 Volts. Thus, extra attention is advised when using electricity. Brazil has switched its electricity outlets to the new NBR 14136 standard, depicted below (left). However, most rooms still present older outlets, like the one shown in the center. If you need an adapter, the right image shows a possible one.
